Ronny Ziegler of Ziegler’s Towing in Hometown receives a plaque from Weissport Chief of Police Denna Krammes, thanking him for all the work he did on refurbishing the department’s police vehicle. Krammes was hired as police chief last May but was unable to start immediate patrols due to the condition of the cruiser. Ziegler sanded and painted the car, painted the wheels and changed the oil, all free of charge. Other improvements were also done free of charge, such as window tinting by Black Diamond Tint and window rain guards from Shawn Phillips of West Penn Township. KATHY KUNKEL/TIMES NEWS
