May 20, 2010 - Pat Kregeloh hits two homers and Xavier Hammond picks up the pitching win after a shaky start as Pleasant Valley defeats Lehighton, 7-3, to win the Mountain Valley Conference championship. Kregeloh ties the game in the third inning with a two-run shot, and gives the Bears - coached by Karl Rentzheimer -a four-run cushion with another two-run blast in the sixth. Hammond allows three runs in the first three frames, but retires 12 straight batters over the final four innings. Kregeloh ends with three hits, while Jake Chamberlain adds three hits - all doubles.
