In West Penn Township there was a race for the Republican nomination for a six-year term as supervisor. Randy Troxell defeated Dave Frederick, 69 votes to 62. There were 342 write-in votes. On the Demo side Lawrence J. Stival got 58 unopposed votes.

Republican Helene V. Zeigler got 448 votes for tax collector. There were no other candidates and not enough write-ins on the Demo side.
