Signs of change popping up in Lansford Borough with one business renovating and another planning to open. The Friendly Food Mart on Patterson Street recently underwent a renovation that includes plans to add beer to the store. Meanwhile, across Patterson, an Allentown restaurant owner is renovating a former restaurant space to open the Coal Miners Bar & Grill. The eatery is expected to open later this year.
