I would like to write a letter of recommendation for Rod Green. Rod had been a Franklin Township Supervisor for the past 18 years. I have been the chief of police for the past 17 years. During that time I have had many conversations with Mr. Green relative to Franklin Township business. Although there have been times we have not agreed on resolutions to some of the problems encountered, we have always agreed to place the township above our personal feelings. In doing so, I have learned to respect the opinion of Mr. Green, and in most instances I have agreed with Mr. Green. He has always looked for ways to better the township and bring the operation of the township up to the standards that are required.Green has been a wonderful supervisor with a great work ethic and reliability. As a private contractor he has taken many days away from his job to conduct township business, which resulted in a loss of revenue from his business. Rod is always on call and can be reached even while he is conducting his business. In addition to being highly reliable, Rod displays a strong character. I truly trust him to make the best decisions for not only the police department but also the other departments within the township. Rod Green is the best candidate for the position of Franklin Township supervisor.He has and will continue to evaluate every decision made in order to keep Franklin Township first.
