Schuylkill County Judge Charles M. Miller has revoked the parole or probation status of the following people charged by local police:
Joseph N. Kamant, 24, of Tamaqua: Charged by Tamaqua police with resisting arrest on May 26, 2016.He pleaded guilty on Nov. 30, 2016, and was sentenced to one day to 23 months in jail.Miller revoked his parole and sent him back to jail until Jan. 9, 2019. Miller also ordered Kaman to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation.Thomas A. Stanton, 28, of Shenandoah: Charged by Rush Township police with possessing paraphernalia on March 17, 2014.Stanton pleaded guilty on Nov. 30, 2016, and was sentenced to time served to 12 months in jail, followed by probation.Miller revoked that probation, and sentenced him to 179 days to 12 months in jail.Leanna L. Vidzicki, 32, of Tamaqua: Charged by state police at Frackville with possessing paraphernalia on Aug. 13, 2015.She pleaded guilty on May 25, 2016, to possession of drug paraphernalia, and was sentenced to 12 months of probation.President Judge William E. Baldwin revoked her probation and sentenced her to four to 12 months in jail.
