Reinoehl perfect in Fillies rout
Lyndsey Reinoehl was perfect in three innings of work on the mound Monday to help Marian close in on a Schuylkill League Division 3 softball championship.
SOFTBALLWeatherly-MarianLyndsey Reinoehl tossed a three-inning perfect game as Marian routed Weatherly, 16-0, in Schuylkill League action.Reinoehl struck out four in helping the Fillies clinch a tie for the Division 3 championship. Marian has a two-game lead over second-place Mahanoy Area with just two league games remaining. The Fillies will travel to Mahanoy Area today with a chance to clinch the title and a spot in the league playoffs.MacKenzie Joy had a double, triple and three RBIs to lead Marian (13-5, 8-3) offensively.
