Due to the possibility of bad weather, the fourth annual Tamaqua Community Hunger Walk has been postponed until May 21.

The walk’s purpose is to raise awareness of the hunger issue in Tamaqua and collect food items and money for the three food bank serving local families at Trinity UCC, the Salvation Army and Primitive Methodist Church.The hunger walk is a project of the Tamaqua Area Faith Fellowship Network, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit under the umbrella of the Tamaqua Area Community Partnership.Donations can be sent to: TAFFNTamaqua Community Art Center125 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pa 18252c/o Hunger WalkChecks can be made payable to TAFFN.Registration forms for the walk are available on the TAFFN website
