Jason Frey has announced his candidacy for Franklin Township supervisor. Frey, a Lehighton native and 18-year resident of the township, graduated from Lehighton Area High School in 1989. Jason and his wife, the former Brandy Barry, live in the Rickertsville area of the township. He is the son of Janet Rohlfing of Lehighton. His father, the late Kenneth Rohlfing, passed on in 1982.
Some may know Frey as the owner/driver of the red, white and blue, No. 76 street stock Camaro at Mahoning Valley Speedway. Jason is taking a year off from racing to pursue other interests, including his bid for Franklin Township supervisor. Look for him as he visits with residents to discuss their concerns about the current state of the township. As Franklin Township supervisor, Frey will support common sense, transparency and choice. He believes the residents and businesses of the township deserve common-sense spending and decision-making, transparent communication, and choice of UCC/building code inspector. One of Jason's key positions is that the police department should remain in the township. He believes this topic should be kept off the table, permanently. A fresh perspective and a point of view uncorrupted by personal agendas is what makes Jason Frey an ideal candidate.Vote for Jason Frey onMay 16 to bring common sense, transparency and choice back to local government.
