November 3, 1995 — Brett Snyder’s 1-yard touchdown run with six seconds left to play breaks a tie and lifts Northwestern to a 14-7 Colonial League victory over Catasauqua. The win snaps Catty’s 19-game league winning streak and gives the Tigers, coached by Bob Mitchell, a share of the league title. Snyder finishes with 116 yards on 27 carries and also scores his team’s other touchdown. After being held to 34 yards of offense through three quarters, the Tigers register 97 and both TDs in the fourth frame.
