A Schuylkill County man was arrested on Sunday for violating a protection from abuse order.

State police at Frackville responded toa Center Street, Ashland, location around 5:30 p.m. for a PFA violation. On scene troopers found Kenneth Jeffrey Williams, 39, of Ashland at the residence. The PFA order prohibits Williams from being at that residence and having contact with the 38-year-old woman who lives there.He was arraigned before on-call District Judge Stephen Bayer, of Tamaqua, on a charge of indirect criminal contempt. He was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
