A male driver escaped serious injury early Saturday morning in a crash along Route 54 in Ryan Township.

The crash occurred near 2 a.m. in a sharp curve at the Barnesville Post Office. The driver actually drove through the the lot before plummeting off a steep embankment. The car came to rest on its side.
