The Tamaqua Area Student Government Association will sponsor its sixth annual MiniTHON this Saturday.

The event will begin at noon and continue until 7 p.m. or slightly later.Activities will include a faculty versus students basketball game, a student volleyball tournament, a bean bag (cornhole) tournament, open swim for elementary students, a dodge ball tournament and the sale of T-shirts.Food and drink will be available for purchase.All proceeds benefit pediatric cancer research and the Carbon-Tamaqua Unit of the American Cancer Society.
