A bull got loose in West Penn Township and ran over a man who was trying to help capture it Saturday afternoon.
The bull mowed over and stomped Paul Baker, 58, who was attempting to help the owner Michael Berger corral the animal at Rabbit Run Road. The bull made its way through fields and woods, taking refuge in a field.
Baker was seriously injured.
He was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics and taken to area trauma center.
West Penn Police and the West Penn fire company responded to the scene.
