A Pottsville man died in a snowmobile crash in Schuylkill County Friday night, according to state police.

22-year-old Dennis G. Keefer III was pronounced dead around 11:30 Friday night after a crash on Second Mountain in Wayne Township.

The crash occurred near the Weiser State Forest.

Police said that Keefer lost control of his snowmobile and struck a tree.

No further details were available.
