Palmerton's Jerry Zielinski was be continuing his academic and athletic career at Thaddeus Stevens College.

Zielinski was a guard and defensive tackle for the Blue Bombers this past season, and helped the team reach the District 11 Class 2A championship game.A three-year player at Palmerton, Zielinski had 40 tackles (20 solo) during his senior year. He had tackles were for loss, two and a half sacks, and one quarterback hurry.Zielinski is the son of Theresa and Jerry Zielinski Sr. and will major in software engineering.
