Marian's Nate Litsch will continue his academic and athletic career at Misericordia University in the fall of 2017.
Litsch will play linebacker while at Misercordia. He will major in social work with a concentration in gerontology.Misericordia is a Division III College and a member of the Middle Atlantic Conference.Litsch has been a player on the Colts varsity football team for three years and led the club in combined tackles both his junior and senior years.Litsch was elected as a tri-captain this past season, played in the Schuylkill County League Senior All-Star game, was named to numerous all-star teams - including the Times News area First Team, and received the first Coach Kenny Sneer Memorial Award.At Marian, Litsch was a member of SADD, the Green Club, a Eucharistic Minister, and a Peer Listener.He is the son of George and Diane Litsch, of Tamaqua, and grandson of Sadie Litsch, of Mahanoy City.
