A Monroe County man was cited for persistent disorderly conduct following an incident that occurred at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 23 in the area of 292 Turkey Ridge Drive, in Polk Township.

State police at Lehighton responded to that area and found Aaron Omer, of Kunkletown, intoxicated and causing a disturbance. He continued to act belligerent while in contact with troopers.He was taken into custody and arraigned before District Judge JoLana Krawitz, of Stroudsburg, and was taken to the county prison in Snydersville.
