Parole/probation revocation hearings were held by Carbon County judges on petitions filed by the adult probation office against defendants who violated the terms of their release.
Kristen Marie Eidem, 25, of Allentown, had her probation revoked on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia on petition of probation officer Derek George for violating conditions by failing to report to the probation office as directed, absconding from her approved residence and not having a verifiable residence, failing to submit to urine screens as directed, failing to make concerted effort to pay court costs and failing to complete 50 hours of community service.President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II resentenced her to serve 60 days to six months in prison effective Jan. 11, and she must complete a pre-parole plan before being released.Frank Mraz, 49, of Tresckow, had his probation revoked on a charge of receiving stolen property on petition of probation officer Joseph Bettine for violating conditions by not making a concerted effort to pay court costs.Judge Joseph J. Matika resentenced him to serve three to six months in prison beginning at 9 a.m. May 1. However, if he pays $2,825 on his court costs by that date he will not have to serve the prison term.Marcos Perez, 25, of Lansford, had his probation revoked on a charge of possession of a controlled substance on petition of probation officer Clifford Eckhart for violating conditions by failing to make a concerted effort to pay court costs.Matika resentenced him to serve 30 to 60 days in prison effective Jan. 13 with credit for 21 already served.Dana McFadden, 25, of Summit Hill, had her parole revoked on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, contraband by an inmate on petition of Eckhart for violating conditions by testing positive for a controlled substance, which violated the zero-tolerance condition.Matika resentenced her to serve 45 days in the prison effective Jan. 16 with credit for five days already served.Andrew Moll, 25, of Jim Thorpe, had his probation revoked on a charge of retail dealer required to be licensed on petition of Bettine for violating conditions by being arrested by state police at Lehighton on various charges including a felony fleeing and eluding police.Nanovic resentenced him to serve six to 18 months in prison with the effective date of Dec. 19, 2016.ARD revokedThe following defendants had their placement in the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program revoked.Destinie Dudzinski, 19, of Tunkhannock, had her placement revoked on a charge of simple assault on petition of Bettine for violating conditions by failing complete 50 hours of community service and failing to comply with mental health evaluation recommendations. The revocation was deferred until May 1. If she completes mental health counseling and community service work by then the order will be vacated.Glenn Fisher, 60, of Lake Harmony, had his placement revoked on a charge of driving under the influence on petition of Bettine for violating conditions by being arrested on new criminal charges. His case was placed on the next available pretrial list.Lindsay Gombert, 31, of Summit Hill, had her placement on a charge of possession of a controlled substance revoked on petition of Eckhart for violating conditions by testing positive for a controlled substance, which violated the zero-tolerance condition. Her case was placed on the next available pretrial list.Rachael Ann French, 29, of Lansford, had her placement on a charge of endangering the welfare of children revoked on petition of Eckhart for violating conditions by being arrested for retail theft, failing to pay court costs and failing to perform 75 hours of community service. Her case was placed on the next available pretrial list.
