Teresa and Ernest "Zoomer" Szuminski of San Antonio, Texas, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Melissa Szuminski, to Clinton Michael Haby, son of Shirlyrene and Curtis Haby of Helotes, Texas.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Elizabeth Botek Szuminski and Ernest Szuminski of Lansford, and Rose and Ernest Davis of San Antonio. She is a graduate of Douglas MacArthur High School in San Antonio. She earned a bachelor of science in journalism from Texas A&M University, where she worked and was an editor of the student newspaper, The Battalion. She is currently vice president of marketing and communications for Genesis Networks Enterprises in San Antonio.The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Hazen "Sonny" Haby and the late Faye Haby of San Antonio, and the late John and Selina Benke of San Antonio. He is a graduate of John Marshall High School in San Antonio. He earned a bachelor of science in journalism from Texas A&M University, where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets, Fish Camp counselor for multiple years and founded the campus spirit organization, Ags of OAK. He is the owner of a video production company, StoryKeeping, in San Antonio.A spring wedding is planned in San Antonio.
