A freezing rain advisory remains in effect from 8 this morning to 2 pm this afternoon.
Ice accumulations...a light glaze of a few hundredths of an inch are possible.
Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 20s and slowly rise into the 30s by afternoon.
Icing may create slippery road conditions and produce scattered power outages.
Another round of light freezing rain is possible this evening mainly in the elevated terrain.
This freezing rain advisory means that a period of freezing rain may cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use extra caution while driving.
As of 4 AM EST, the leading edge of precipitation was along a line from Reading to Philadelphia to Atlantic City and expanding northeast. There remain locations below freezing across southeastern Pennsylvania and central and northern New Jersey. In these areas, the precipitation will begin as freezing rain until the temperatures increase above freezing. Please use caution if driving or walking early this morning.
