Nesquehoning borough workers braved frigid temperatures this morning to fix a water main break on the east side of town.
The break happened just before 8 a.m. near the intersection of East Catawissa and Oak streets. Scanner reports said that water was reportedly shooting up from the street. The temperature at that time in Nesquehoning was 12 degrees.Nesquehoning Water Authority officials said that borough crews are working to fix the problem and that four homes in the area were affected by the break.
In Nesquehoning the display at ETA Benefits Group's shows a temperature of 12 degrees this morning.
