Marian students honored for SAT scores

Jean M. Susko, principal at Marian Catholic High School in Hometown, along with Teresa Sheer, Marian Director of Studies, presented certificates of merit to 23 seniors and 1 junior who scored 600 or above in one or more parts of the SAT test during this past year. This constitutes 24 percent of the 2017 graduating class, including nine seniors who scored above 600 in both sections, math and reading.

Students who scored 600 or greater on the math portion of the test were Miranda Antiga and Jarod Paisley; while students who scored 600 or greater on the reading section of the test were Abby Haas, Aiden Hinchey, Camryn Wheeler, Ethan Kuczynski, Jenna O'Donnell, Julia Mussoline, Kaitlyn MacDonald, Kathleen Blozusky, Kelli Hughes, Matt Greenfield, Natalia Konitzer, Sarah Grega and Michael Dubravski.Students who scored 600 or greater on both sections were: Megan Ferrello, Sara Osilka, Anthony Collevechio, Benjamin Ferko, Tim Dando, Katherine Kurzinsky, Michael Latoff, Dennis Mummey, Wyatt Trantham; while students who scored 700 or greater were: Megan Ferrello (reading), Sarah Osilka (reading), and Benjamin Ferko (math).
