A free information session will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, for the nurse aide program at Lehigh Carbon Community College's Morgan Center, Tamaqua.

Students will receive career training for employment in skilled occupations through the Pennsylvania's Advanced Training and Hiring program, in addition to the services of a career coach and job developer dedicated to supporting student success and employment readiness. Class begins Jan. 30 at LCCC Tamaqua, 234 High St.The certificate program prepares students for eligibility to take the Pennsylvania Certification exam and be placed on the Pennsylvania State Nurse Aide registry.The information session will cover forms for the prospective student to acquire background clearance, health screening and TB testing.To reserve a spot, contact Mary at 610-799-1957.
