A vehicle stop along Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County led to the arrest of a wanted person and also resulted in drug counts being filed against her.

State police at Frackville said a vehicle was stopped for speeding at 11:11 a.m. Wednesday southbound in Ryan Township. A back seat passenger in the vehicle was identified as Nicole Michelle Vuocola, 24, of Berwick. A check determined there was an outstanding warrant for her arrest issued out of Columbia County.While being taken into custody troopers found Vuocola in possession of two hypodermic needle syringes, a clear glass smoking pipe and eight cotton swabs used for injecting and smoking heroin.
