October 5, 1951 - Lansford rallies from a halftime deficit to post a 14-6 victory over Shenandoah. After giving up a score on the Blue Devils first possession, the Panther defense shuts down their opponent. A fumble recovery by Tommy Gallagher on the Shenandoah 2-yard line sets up Ziggy Kosciolek's short touchdown run. Kosciolek's coversion gives Lansford the lead. The Panthers add an insurance tally in the fourth quarter when Bob Popik blocks a punt and Steve Vitek recovers the loose ball in the end zone for a score.
