Join the Penn State Master Gardeners in Carbon County to learn how to prepare the soil, plant, care for and harvest garlic. The different varieties of garlic will be presented and garlic sets will be provided to plant in home gardens.
This workshop will be held at the Carbon County Environmental Education Center, 151 E. White Bear Drive, Summit Hill, from 10 a.m. until noon Oct. 15.You must preregister by calling Penn State Extension - Carbon County at 570-325-2788, ext. 3804, or emailing
CarbonExt@psu.edu. Space is limited so register early. Deadline to register is Oct. 10. Participants must provide their names, addresses, phone numbers and how many people are attending and whether adults or 19 and under.The fee is $10 per person for adults; those 19 and under are free.
