One person was injured Monday morning in a crash along Route 209 in Nesquehoning. The crash occurred just after 10 a.m. as the driver of a late-model Lincoln was traveling south, just passing through the intersection with Route 54. According to reports at the scene, the driver lost control, entering the right berm near the entrance to McDonald's. The car became entangled with a guide wire on a utility pole, causing the car to spin around and face north. The car struck a parked pickup on the lot of KME.
