This Sunday, motorcycle aficionados will get a chance to sate their need for speed with a ride around the Pocono Raceway, with proceeds going to charity.

Local organization Dream Come True, which grants dream experiences to local children who are chronically or terminally ill, will be hosting United Dream Ride starting at 8:30 a.m. at American Legion Post 927 in Gilbert. Participants will meet at the Legion, where registration for the event will be open until 11 a.m.At 11:15, bikers can head over to the Pocono Raceway and take in three laps, followed by a ride back to the Legion to enjoy United Dream Fest. The fest will feature two bands, plenty of vendors, a mechanical bull, food, beer, a brown bag auction and a bike show with a $100 first prize.Tickets for the event are $20, and cover the cost of one lunch, along with one beer or soda, with proceeds benefiting the Blue Ridge Chapter of Dream Come True.
