A young woman was injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash along Reber street in Franklin township.
The crash occurred as the woman was traveling west about a quarter mile west of Harrity Road. She apparently got too close to the right berm, striking a concrete drainage culvert. The car continued along the berm before re - entering the roadway, coming to rest on its wheels in the center of the road.The victim was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics and transported to an area hospital.Franklin Township fire police maintained traffic control at the scene. Franklin Township police are investigating the incident.
