Community dinner

The next free community dinner at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Race Street, will be held Sept. 25. The meal of pork and sauerkraut will be served from 4 to 6 p.m. If you have any questions, call the church office at 570-325-2241.Class partyMembers of the 1964 graduating class of Jim Thorpe High School will be celebrating the year of their 70th birthdays on Saturday. The weekend of events will begin on Friday with a deck party at Mollie Maguire's Restaurant, beginning at 7 p.m. On Saturday, members who signed up will enjoy a train ride through the gorge. The evening will begin with a meet and greet from 4 to 6 p.m. at the American Legion, Lehighton, and dinner will begin at 6:15.
