Tamaqua police have cited the following people in connection with recent shoplifting incidents.

Brian Scott Fritz,39, of Forest City, who took a bottle of Sprite soda from Pieracini's Market on Aug. 5.Robert W. Fredericks,33, of West Spruce Street, Tamaqua, who took duct tape, paint brushes and a pipe fitter from the M and S Hardware Store on Aug. 8.Krista Lee Connell,28, of East Broad Street, Tamaqua, who placed several items in her handbag while at the Family Dollar Store on Aug. 15, failing to pay for them when she was at the cash register.Tammy Blew,42, of East Foster Avenue, Coaldale, who tried to leave the Dollar General Store, 1213 E. Broad St., with several items in her purse on Aug. 18.All four were cited for retail theft.
