A Carbon County man admitted on Tuesday in the county court to theft incidents at two county motels.
He entered a guilty plea before Judge Joseph J. Matika.Trevor Clarence Hartranft, 38, of Lehighton, pleaded to two counts of theft and one of criminal trespass.Hartranft was charged for an incident on March 12 at Mooney's Motel in Franklin Township. He was charged with taking a shopvac from the motel where he had rented a room.He was charged by Lehighton police for an incident on June 8 at the Mahoning Inn where he took tools from a truck parked at the motel where he had also rented a room.Sentencing was deferred at the request of defense counsel attorney Paul Levy, of the public defender's office, because there is a question concerning restitution.
