Marcy Lynn Walck, daughter of Jim and Michele Walck of Jim Thorpe, became the bride of David Lee Knauft Jr., son of David and Sherry Knauft of Jim Thorpe and Cheryl Toth of Norristown, during a double ring ceremony at Immaculate Conception Church in Jim Thorpe on May 21. The Rev. James J. Ward officiated the wedding. Robyn Hill was the organist and Rebekah McFadden was the vocalist.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, Jodi Sonon of Lehighton, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Paula Rhyder of Shartlesville; and Jennifer Dennis and Dawn Knauft, both of Jim Thorpe. The flower girl was Hayley Fazio of Jim Thorpe.The bridegroom chose Gordon Murphy of Norristown to serve as his best man. Groomsmen were Jon Fritz of West Chester; and Brian Moore and Kris Lyden, both of Jim Thorpe. Connor Sonon of Lehighton was the ring bearer.Following the ceremony, the couple welcomed family and friends to a reception at the Blue Shamrock Golf Club in Palmerton and are currently planning a honeymoon for this fall.The new Mrs. Knauft is a 2006 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School and a 2008 graduate of Central Pennsylvania College in Harrisburg. She is employed at IMCW at the Department of Human Services in Lehighton.Mr. Knauft is employed at Sargent Enterprises in Jim Thorpe.
