ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - An eastern Pennsylvania man who pleaded guilty in a fatal drunken driving crash that killed a 16-year-old girl and injured her mother is heading to prison.

A Lehigh County judge on Monday sentenced 60-year-old Charlie Mack of Allentown to 10 to 20 years behind bars in the August 2015 crash that killed Alayna Velez.Mack pleaded guilty in June to vehicular homicide, drunken driving and aggravated assault.Authorities say Mack was driving 61 mph in a 35-mph zone when he swerved around a stopped vehicle and into Ruth Velez's car, sending it flying into a pole. Alayna Velez, a passenger, died the next day. Her mother, Ruth, was hospitalized for six weeks.Tests showed Mack's blood-alcohol level was .13 percent during the crash. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is .08.
