State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating two criminal mischief incidents that happened in rural Palmerton. Both incidents were reported to police on July 18.

In one case, a resident on the 700 block of Club Road reported a suspect smashed her mailbox.In a second incident, a resident on the 600 block of Club Road, reported someone slashed the tires on his truck.
