State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between 2 p.m. July 17 and 7:30 p.m. July 26 in Towamensing Township.

The victim is a 58-year-old male resident in the area of500 Preacher's Camp Road.Police said the home was forcibly entered through a basement door. The residence was ransacked and items were removed.
