Four occupants of a vehicle that crashed at 5:15 p.m. July 18 on the Fireline Road in Bowmanstown were uninjured but the driver was cited, according to state police at Lehighton.

Police said the 2010 Mazda 3 was driven by Jenna A. Bartholomew, 26, of Palmerton, who was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.Passengers Travis Blake Jr., 3; Maxen Graver and Jaelyn Bartholomew, 7, were uninjured.Police said Bartholomew was eastbound on Fireline Road during a heavy downpour of rain when she lost control of the vehicle.It veered off the roadway and struck a mailbox belonging to three property owners, then continued through a grass front yard of a fourth property owner, striking that property owner's front porch.The vehicle was towed from the scene.
