A Schuylkill County man has been cited for violating a protection from abuse order.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Matthew Nickerson, 31, of Palo Alto was arrested on July 10 for violation of an order. He gave a message to the victim through a third party, which violated the order the victim had in place, troopers said.
