Two male occupants appeared to have escaped serious injury early Tuesday after their Ford Expedition crossed three lanes and crashed into trees on Claremont Avenue, Route 309, Rush Township. Tire marks indicate the vehicle was traveling southbound near the top of the Hometown Hill. The occupants indicated they may have fallen asleep. No other details were available regarding the 8:17 a.m. incident.
