Schuylkill County court - probation
The following people have been placed on probation by Schuylkill County President Judge William E. Baldwin after being charged by local police:
Angelo Seritti, 31, Mahanoy City: Charged by Rush Township police with retail theft and receiving stolen property on Oct. 19, 2015.Baldwin sentenced him to 18 months' probation on the theft charge, and ordered him to pay $232 in bench warrant fees. The receiving charge was dropped.Christina Kieffer, 29, Coaldale: Charged by Coaldale police with criminal trespass, theft and receiving stolen property on Jan. 21.Baldwin sentenced her to 12 months' probation on the trespass charge. The other charges were dropped.Kieffer was also charged with making false reports and possession of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 7. She was sentenced to 12 months' probation, to be served at the same time.Edward Rivera, 31, Shenandoah: Charged by Tamaqua police with theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and driving while his license was suspended or revoked on Oct. 31, 2015.Baldwin sentenced him to 12 months' probation on the license charge, and ordered him to pay $12,762 in restitution to Progressive Insurance.The unauthorized use charge was dropped.Joseph J. Redner II, 39, New Ringgold: Charged by Tamaqua police with theft, receiving stolen property, loitering and prowling, and possession of drug paraphernalia on Oct. 18, 2015.Baldwin sentenced him to 12 months' probation on the theft charge, and ordered him to pay $1,185 in restitution to State Farm Insurance and $256 to Jamie Miller. The other charges were dropped.Daniel Chitswara, 33, Hazleton: Charged by Rush Township police with retail theft and receiving stolen property on Sept. 28, 2015.Baldwin sentenced him to 12 months' probation on the theft charge, and ordered him to pay $825 in restitution to Walmart. The receiving charge was dropped.Joseph Gundry, 27, Weatherly: Charged by McAdoo police with possession of drug paraphernalia on Jan. 24, 2016.Baldwin sentenced him to 12 months' probation.Michelle Rex, 41, Tamaqua: Charged by Rush Township police with theft and receiving stolen property on Sept. 24, 2014.Baldwin accepted her guilty plea and sentenced her to time served to 23 months in jail, with immediate parole.He also ordered her to pay $500 in restitution to Kathryn Delano and $5,234 to Nationwide Insurance.She was also ordered to pay court costs and fees.The receiving charge was dropped.Rex was also charged by Tamaqua police with providing false identification on Oct. 20, 2015.Baldwin sentenced her to 12 months' probation and 10 hours of community service.April A. Reznick, 33, Tamaqua: Charged by Tamaqua police with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance on Sept. 23, 2015.Baldwin sentenced her to 12 months' probation.
