Heather Plocinik graduated magna cum laude from Washington College in Maryland with departmental honors in biology. She also won the Department of Biology Health Professional Award.

Heather is a member of the following honor societies: Beta Beta Beta, Sigma Xi, Gamma Sigma Epsilon, Cater Society of Junior Fellows and Phi Beta Kappa.She will continue her education at Case Western Reserve University in Washington, D.C., for a master of science in anesthesia.Heather is the daughter of Paul and Karen Plocinik and the granddaughter of Ronald and Bernadine Plocinik of Coaldale and Anna Mae Troxell and the late Norman Troxell of Summit Hill.
