A Tamaqua woman faces charges after reporting a disturbance to police on June 5.

Officers went to 29 Center St. at 10:28 p.m. and were met by Ana Rodriguez, 50. She was reporting loud noises coming from her neighbor's apartment, including stomping sounds on the ceiling.The neighbor said Rodriguez and her friends were outside, listening to loud music, whistling and yelling back and forth to be heard over the music. Both women were warned about disturbing others.Within minutes of the officer leaving, the music, yelling and whistling resumed. Rodriguez will be cited for causing a disturbance.
