A tractor with trailer rig crashed early this morning along Interstate 81 in Kline Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Chad Passwaters, 37, of Seaford, Delaware, was operating a 2016 Freightliner tractor with 2009 Great Dane trailer northbound about 1:45 a.m. in the left lane when he became distracted causing the tractor to enter into the grass median.Passwaters attempted to bring the tractor back onto the road which caused the tractor to roll over onto its left side along with the trailer. The rig then slid across both lanes and came to rest blocking the two northbound lanes.Passwaters sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene. Troopers were assisted at the scene by volunteers from the McAdoo Fire Company, ambulance corps and fire police.
