A woman passenger on a motorcycle was injured Saturday afternoon when the bike in a crash with a pickup truck in Mahoning Township.

The crash occurred at 2 p.m. at the intersection with Fritz Valley and Church Hill roads, just north of Normal Square.

The victim's husband was the driver of the bike. He sustained road rash from the incident but refused medical attention at the scene. His wife was treated at the scene and transported to an area trauma center.

The occupants of the pickup were not injured.

Mahoning Township police are investigating the incident.
