Two arrested, one wanted in Tobyhanna robbery

Two men from Tobyhanna have been arrested, and a third is wanted, in connection with an armed robbery that occurred May 9.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police on Tuesday announced charges against Joshua Andrews, 20, Frencesco Reid, 19, and Angel Rodrigues-Martinez, 18.

All three are accused of participating in a robbery at the intersection that occurred in the Pocono Farms East development.

Based on a description of a car involved in the robbery, and its driver, police were able to stop a vehicle not far from Pocono Farms, at the intersection of Routes 196 and 611.

The victim in the case identified Andrews, Reid and Rodrigues-Martinez as the suspects, and police filed charges after their investigation.

They face charges including robbery, theft and receiving stolen property.

Andrews and Reid were taken into custody and arraigned on the charges. Bail was set at $50,000 for Andrews and $25,000 for Reid.
