Lansford AMVETS reorganization

Lansford AMVETS will hold a reorganization meeting at 6 p.m. May 22 at St. John's Slovak Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., in Lansford.Coaldale LegionThe Coaldale American Legion, Post 170, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesdayto accept nominations for officers.A number of other issues will also be on the agenda, including Memorial Day services sponsored by the Coaldale United Veterans Organization.The UVO will be conducting Memorial Day services on May 29, with L. Marc Burlile Sr., Commander of American Legion Department of Pennsylvania District 13, as the main speaker.
