PennEast Pipeline Company LLC announces its most recent Community Connector Grant awards.
PennEast has awarded 17 Community Connector Grants totaling $85,000.Local recipients are:•Diligent Fire Company #3•Dreams Come True Therapeutic Riding with HEART•Lake Harmony Rescue Squad Ambulance Corp.•Lehighton Ambulance Association, Inc.•Northampton County Emergency Management Operations Center•Pennsylvania FFA Foundation•Pennsylvania Hunters Sharing the HarvestPennEast’s Community Connector Grant Program provides grants of up to $5,000 to:•Support first responders and emergency management;•Improve community safety;•Conserve important local habitat;•Enhance open space, recreational areas and wildlife habitat;•Preserve community culture and heritage; and•Support environmental and/or energy education programs.If approved, the 118-mile, primarily 36-inch, underground pipeline, will originate in Dallas, Luzerne County, in northeastern Pennsylvania, and terminate at Transco’s pipeline interconnection near Pennington, Mercer County, New Jersey.For additional information on the Community Connector Grant Program and eligibility requirements, visit
