Panther Valley's Jamey Mikovich will continue her education and volleyball career at Wilkes University in the fall.

Mikovich holds the school record for kills (712) and digs (558) and ranks third in blocks (235).Mikovich was a 2014, 2015 and 2016 Schuylkill League First Team All Star, and a 2013 Schuylkill League Honorable Mention selection. Mikovich was a District 11 Second Team All Star. Mikovich was also selected to the Anthracite Volleyball Academy Travel Team.In addition to playing volleyball and basketball, Mikovich also participated in law day and is a member of the National Honor Society, recycling club, art club, envirothon, Harmony Scholars, and was on the prom committee and homecoming court.Jamey is the daughter of James and Jennifer Mikovich. She will major in pharmacy at Wilkes.
