An American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in Tamaqua on April 27, providing the perfect opportunity to renew the hope that comes with Spring. Each donation has the potential to save three lives.

Sponsored by the Tamaqua YMCA, the Bloodmobile will be held at the Y, 1201 E. Broad St.Blood donors will be accepted between the hours of 1 and 6 p.m.Anyone 17 or older, in good general health, who weighs at least 110 pounds is eligible to donate blood.Every potential donor will receive a one-day fitness pass for the Y as well as a waiver of the Y's enrollment fee.To make an appointment, call 800-733-2767 or visit
